Wedging *Slip /score* Wedging is used for eliminating lumps and air bubbles, drying the clay, and organizes the clay particles to lye in the same direction for strength. SCORE :Make hash marks on the surfaces where two pieces will be attached. Slip : thick, watered down clay (pancake mix) that is applied to the hash marks.
