6. Exostar Fees for use of SCP
Different Exostar products have different charging structures for their use.
The fee for SCP uses a sliding scale based on the number of transactions you receive and create per year. The category that you fall into is determined by an assessment of your SCP usage level about nine months after your registration.
The table shows the various membership levels.

8. Log On to SCP for the First Time
The following items are covered in this segment.
Access to SCP is controlled by Exostar’s Managed Access Gateway (MAG).
When you register with Exostar, your login credentials are sent to you by .
You must complete the ‘first time login’ procedure in order to get started.
If you are the administrator for your company, you will also need to agree to the service agreement.

9. Key User Roles Two key user roles in MAG: Four key user roles in SCP:
Organization Administrator
Owns the relationship between your company and Exostar
Likely to be the person who registered your company with Exostar
Can create other users for your organization
Application Administrator
Manages the day-to-day use of SCP
Can select default preference values for the company
Four key user roles in SCP:
Admin – can assign other users to roles, and set default preferences for your company
User – standard role that can view, respond and create documents in SCP
Shipper – can create ASNs, but only view all other document types in SCP
Viewer – can view information, but cannot take action or create any documents

10. First Time Login – Email from Exostar
You will receive an from ‘Exostar Administrators’.
The contains your User ID and two passwords that are used for first time login.

11. First Time Login Process

2. Click on the login button (Exostar-Access most Exostar applications through Managed Access Gateway).

3. On the MAG login page, click on the ‘First Time Login’ icon. You will only need to do this the first time that you log in. C

13. Fill In User ID and Passwords
4. Enter your user ID and system-generated password from the that you received.
5. Enter the one time password that you received from your administrator.
6. Click Continue.

14. Enter a New Password
7. Enter a new password. This will be your login password going forward.
8. Click Submit.
Password Requirements:
Must be more than 8 and less than 12 characters
Must include at least one number, one letter and one special character
Cannot include the same character (letter or number) more than four times

15. Password Reset Questions
9. Provide answers to four of the password reset questions. You will be asked to provide the same answers if you want to use the automated process to reset your password.
Note: If you have to provide answers in the future, they are case sensitive.
10. Click Submit – you will be redirected to a ‘Login Successful’ screen and then to the home tab in MAG.

16. Service Agreement
Once you are on the home tab in MAG, you will see ‘open application’ (which means you are ready to work in SCP by clicking the link), or you will see ‘View Service Agreement’.
A user with the Org Administrator role, Organization Steward role or SCP-BAE Systems Application Administrator role must accept the Terms and Conditions. Once the Terms and Conditions have been accepted, the application will become active for the company. Users will have the ability to request access to the application.
1. Click on ‘View Service Agreement’ and then select ‘I Agree’ at the bottom of the agreement. A copy of the agreement will be mailed to you.

When you log on to SCP, you will be presented with this landing page.
At the top is your name and user role, how to exit the system, bookmark pages, access the help files and the About link.
On the left is the Navigation Tree, which allows you to access different parts of the system.

Click on the Help link which is located in the top right corner of all SCP screens.
