Follow the instructions on the following slides to complete your personal monthly budget.

Step 1: Career/Salary Take your salary and divide it by 12 months. This is your MONTHLY INCOME. Record this number in box #1

Step 8: Transportation Research a car, truck, or motor cycle that you will be able to afford. Calculate the monthly payments by … Multiplying the amount by .2 … this give you the down payment which the Bank of Quinn assumes you have (will not be taken out of monthly budget). Subtract the down payment from the total cost. Bank of Quinn is giving you a 6 year, 0% APR Financing deal. So take the remaining balance and divide it by 72 (months).

THE FINAL STEP! Calculate your TOTAL expenses per month by adding up all of the highlighted total boxes. Record this number in box #4. Subtract boxes 3 and 4 to determine your “cushion” or extra money for each month. You may have to go back and reconsider your expenses!
