1. Annex 5 - Tower and Lock installation

2. Take M6 bolts,
-torque wrench – 8.5 N-m,
-tower 1301,
-lock assembly qty
- spring loaded plungers-3qty(item no.17)
- flat screw driver

3. Place spacer between inner triangle and leaf spring to support triangle

4. Place tower assy and align “Y” direction of tower along “Y” direction of moving arm.
Put eye bolts in holes of tower. Orient direction of eyebolt towards center of tower.
Put slings in eye bolts.
Ensure slings are of equal length to lift tower assy uniformly.

5. Lift tower assy using chain pully.
Ensure tower assy is uniformly lifted

6. Verify locks are having smooth movement in tower.
Remove lock handles after verifying.
Verify locks with engraved moving arm number and place it accordingly

7. Align tower to center hub of moving frame.
Verify orientation of tower assy and align “Y” direction of tower along “Y” direction of moving arm

8. Lower tower assy carefully to accommodate moving arms in slots of tower assy .
Ensure there should be sufficient clearance between parts at time of assy.

9. While lowering tower keep gap of 1-2mm between face of flexure and tower.

10. Engage locks handles to lock tower assy and moving frame
Ensure lock handles are of respective moving arms.

11. Engage lock handles to “lock position”.

12. Tight spring plunger using screw driver to assembly until it touches lock handle.
Unlock spring plunger by quarter rotation for adjustment.
Check movement of lock handles after installation of spring plunger

13. CAUTION!!.. Remove Slings from Assembly.
Note : Do not try to remove lock when tower is not supported or hanged from bottom. This will bend the triangles, flexure and damage the assembly.

14. Apply Locktite on threads of spring plunger.

15. Install washer and nut -1/2” -13 UNC on spring plunger to jam plunger on tower assembly.

16. Tight nut with tourque of 8.5 N-m

17. Take 15 x M6 bolts and washers.
Mountz preset torque wrench 3 N-m with 5mm allen bit.

18. Place bolt and washer on -1300 to clamp -1291.

20. Tight all bolts with 8.5 N-m torque.

22. Take 1208,1209,1210 and fit check with moving frame on all three arms

23. Remove tools from assembly.

25. Place Eye bolt to holes of moving arm while lifting assy from fixture.
