5. www.vocabulary.com 1st assignment due Tuesday, August 22nd!
Normally, students will have two weeks to complete assignments.
Assessment will be at the end of two week period.

11. What’s my role in my student’s success?
Access Synergy weekly to maintain progress (9 weeks)
Encourage participation in class AND doing nightly review
Encourage accountability

12. What is my student’s role in their own success?
Think about the class even when they’re not in here.
Pay attention!
Ask questions and advocate on their own behalf.

13. What is the teacher’s role in my student’s success?
My job is to help them become responsible and active learners.
Get them ready for high school by holding them accountable.
Be timely with communication and grading.

14. Honors Literature Requirements?
H.S. registration usually occurs late January/early February-we will not know anything about placement until we hear from Pope.
