ACTION - ACTION - SANCTION
Your teacher will explain to you that there is an issue with the way you are working and work with you to make a change. They might ask you to move or work in another way. If you do not make the change after two explanations, you will get a sanction - this is not negotiable Achieving Excellence in a Learning Community

How can I help my child set up a revision timetable?
Your child needs to add the dates and times of their subject assessments / mock exams and block out times when they are busy. They need to prioritise their revision by working backwards from the final MOCK exam adding in revision sessions for each subject. A revision session is the time when your child sits down to do several chunks of revision. Therefore, one chunk of revision might be for minutes with a 5 minute break. They need to develop a revision routine as this will help them stay on track and vary their revision chunks so they cover different subjects through the day. Parental support is eight times more important in determining a child’s academic success than social class The number of books in a child’s home more accurately predicts their success that their parents’ occupations or level of education Achieving Excellence in a Learning Community
