2 CLINICAL CASE 42-year old man.
PH: Meningitis at 8 years of age, with no sequelae. Heterocromic Fuchs uveitis and cataract surgery in OD . Complaints shadow at the top of the visual field in OD Ocular fundus: raised papilla with venous engorgement in OD

3 Ultrasound-mode B did not show any optic nerve drusen
Visual field 24-2 presented superior arcuate defect in OD and normal OS Ultrasound-mode B did not show any optic nerve drusen Fundus autofluorescence did not show any optic nerve drusen

4 The OCT evidenced optic nerve edema and detachment of pigmentary epithelium in OD and was normal in OS.

5 EVOLUTION Treatment with 60 mg of prednisone was started
Chest x-ray and complete analysis with vitamin B12 and folic acid were normal, with all negative serology except IgG positive for toxoplasma, with negative IgM Brain MRI showed small intensities of white matter of nonspecific characteristics Neurology consultation was requested, lumbar puncture did not show any disorders
