11 Benefits Beyond College Credit
Hands-on, problem based learning experiences Rigorous and relevant content Current real-life engineers who come speak to our students Toyota, GE, Skanska, etc. College representatives who come speak to our students UK, U of L, USI, Murray, etc. Jon Leohr: These field trips have become course specific

13 Engineering Academy EOC Exam Grade Translation
WHAT is an EOC? Jon Leohr:

14 Course Pathways Steven May:
IED counts as Digital Literacy at AHS, DCHS, and OHS IED also counts as the Performance Art Elect at AHS POE and Programming order is flexible. Students need to have finished Geometry before they take POE. At AHS, students taking POE after Algebra 2 gain math credit, and AP Computer Science is always considered math credit at AHS.

Over ¼ Million Dollars in Tuition Value

17 TESS FULKERSON University of Louisville
When I arrived at U of L, I felt I had a tremendous advantage over other students since I already knew exactly what specific major I was interested in and also had a huge jump start on credits for my major. The preparation those classes gave me is priceless. TESS FULKERSON University of Louisville The classes I took while a part of the Engineering Academy were some of the best experiences of my high school career. I am naturally a kinetic learner, so the traditional classroom setting with lectures and power points seldom met my needs as a student. Jon Leohr University of Kentucky SKYE HUFF

18 apollopltw.weebly.com Jon Leohr:
Our intent is to continually add pictures of events that happen in and outside of our classes as a way for you to see what your students are doing.
