3. 2017 Programs SHB50115 Diploma of Beauty Therapy
This qualification reflects the role of individuals who are competent in a broad range of beauty therapy treatments and services
Work would be undertaken as skilled beauty therapists in salons, spas and the wider beauty industry.
This is the industry preferred qualification level.

4. salon service skills skin care product knowledge
18 months blended delivery including work placement in simulated salon.
Areas of study include-
salon service skills skin care product knowledge
skin science, anatomy and physiology lash and brow enhancement
manicures, pedicures waxing services
professional make-up extensive facial treatments
relaxation massage professional and industry skills
alternative massage therapies body spa treatments
micro-dermabrasion small business management units
Aromatherapy

5. The Diploma of Beauty Therapy is delivered in the following structure-
Year months full time Mon/ Tues 9.30am- 3pm
Feb- Nov Wed 12pm-6pm
Thurs pm
Year 2- 6 months part time Wed 9.30am-3pm
Jan- June Thurs 9.30am-12.30pm

6. Certificate III in Beauty Services
This program is offered on campus and to Beauty trainees, currently working in industry.
Trainees can be school based or full time employees.
On campus program is delivered in the following structure-
8 months part time- 2 days per week TBA Feb- Oct 9.30am- 3.30pm

lash and brow enhancement inc. lash extensions

8. SHB40115 Cert IV in Beauty Therapy
Offered to trainees only
short courses
Waxing- waxing unit delivered over 4 days- Dec 5th 2016
Nail enhancement- workshops delivered over 6 days for gel and acrylic offered each semester- Jan 4th 2017
Spray tanning- 1 day short course offered regularly throughout the year- Dec 8th 2016

9. Home study
Some of your units of study throughout the programs have extensive underpinning knowledge. You will be expected to complete this work from home within timeframes accompanying the practical component
You will need a computer and internet access and you will also have some scheduled workshops to complete the work.

15. How to enrol
Begin enrolment today by contacting or to book an interview and pre-enrolment review
Attend pre-enrolment appointment with coordinator/ teacher to discuss enrolment requirements including RPL* and direct credits* for units you may have already studied or have skills in.
All enrolments must complete a pre-training review and online LLN assessment at this appointment, please allow at least 1 hour. Appointment dates and times are available now!
Once accepted, you will be notified via and can enrol
Please note, classes are capped at 14 places.
