10 Evaluation Midterm Examination 25% Final Examination 30%
Database Design Assignment 20% Paper Report %

11 Database Design Assignment
Individual assignment Detail to be announced, to be submitted before presentation Mark distribution (20%) Entity-relationship model 8% Table mapping 7% Normalization 5%

12 Paper Report Individual Assignment Select one of the following topics
Unstructured Database (XML Database) NoSQL Cloud Computing or etc. Approximately 1,000 words At least 8 reliable sources, properly cited and listed at the end of the paper

13 Paper Report Your report should at least cover
What it is and why should we use it? Technologies involved How does it fit in organization? Pros & Cons Wikipedia is a good place to start but not a good reference To be submitted and presented in week 14 (April 18, 2017) Mark distribution Paper 20% Presentation 5%

14 Plagiarism Matter What is plagiarism? Do NOT copy-paste
Penalty applies Paraphrasing must be cited Direct quotation must be put in quotation mark Having more references cited is not bad
