Targets Iowans who are looking for employment. View in-demand jobs in their local area through Career Coach. Gather information on local in-demand jobs then see education/training provided through their local community college that prepares them for employment in an in-demand IHUM industry. Directs visitors to contact admission offices & career pathway navigators at each college, leading to enrollment in IHUM signature programs.

4 Regional Marketing Plans
Coordinate regional marketing plan with college’s IHUM team. Project Lead, College Marketing Dept., Dean/Chair of Signature Program, Grant Writer. Explain “Enhance Iowa Guidelines for Marketing Teams” document. Develop regional plan to market your signature programs to TAA-eligible, unemployed, underemployed and veterans based on best practices. Participate in monthly IHUM marketing meeting. Printed Handouts – Highlights signature program. Can be distributed on campus and at events. Open House / Mobile Booth- Displaying new equipment purchased for IHUM signature programs & distribute signature program handouts. Present Info to IowaWORKS Center – At workshops and to employees. Career Fair – Promote through Local Iowa Workforce Development. Dedicated IHUM Web Page – Place on your college’s website. Call to action for your efforts. Career Coach – Get it up and running & promote it. Identify participant for testimonial. Explanation of how they benefit from IHUM signature programs.
