Blue Waters Student Internship Program
NSF provides support for undergraduate internships involving high-performance computing in science, engineering, and mathematics. Students from groups that have been traditionally underrepresented in STEM are strongly encouraged to apply. The program includes a stipend ($5000 over the year), a two-week intensive Petascale Institute at the National Center for Supercomputing Applications, access to the Blue Waters supercomputer, and travel for select students to the Blue Waters Symposium This support is intended to allow you to work with a faculty mentor on your campus. Have your faculty mentor fill out an intern position description at the link below. There are also some open positions listed on our site. Student applications and position descriptions from faculty are due February 1, Selections and notifications will be made by February 15, 2017.
