Source water protection is defined as efforts to protect drinking water sources: – Surface water – Ground water

– Public health protection. – Economic benefits. – Environmental benefits . – Public confidence.

treatment and/or remediation, finding and developing new supplies, providing emergency replacement water, Abandoning (leave) a drinking water supply due to contamination,
