3. Who We Are
Hampton Roads Juniors was founded in During the season, the club fielded one 17& Under team. The club grew to five teams (14-18 & Under) in the season, eight teams (13-18 & Under) in the season and nine teams (12-18 & Under) in the seasons. Hampton Roads Juniors has seen moderate tournament success during its brief existence and we look forward to continued success in the future. Hampton Roads Juniors Volleyball Club makes its home in the Hampton Roads area of Virginia. All club coaches receive USA Volleyball Coach's Training and are certified through the Old Dominion Region of USA Volleyball and through AAU Sports.

****** PRESS RELEASE ****** 10/10/2015 Directors from the two most successful volleyball programs in the 757 area finalized plans to merge the clubs beginning with the 2017 season. Hampton Roads Juniors will take on the moniker "Coastal Hampton Roads", and the logo above will begin to appear in both programs in this 2016 season. Through joint effort, the program will look to open a new facility on the North side of the Bay. Coastal traditionally manages 24 teams or more between the Boys and Girls programs. Hampton Roads brings 7 to the table this year, previously with as many as 12, also including a Boys team. Coastal is 21 years old and has placed over 100 players onto collegiate teams. Hampton Roads Jrs is 12 years old and has sent over 50 athletes to NCAA programs Hampton Roads Juniors is a private, nonprofit organization dedicated to providing young volleyball enthusiasts an opportunity to improve their skills and develop as players. We welcome athletes of all skill levels. Hampton Roads Juniors promotes interest in the sport of volleyball, provides training in the skills and techniques of volleyball, and fosters teamwork and sportsmanship. Hampton Roads Juniors is a developmental volleyball program for players aged The club draws players from the Peninsula, Middle Peninsula, and Southside. Hampton Roads Juniors teams compete from January through May in tournaments sanctioned by USA Volleyball and AAU Volleyball. (National teams may compete until mid-July
