Aim: How can we describe the style of art known as Surrealism?
Objective: Students will be able to identify elements in a surrealist painting. They will then create sketches of surrealism for their own composition.

Activity
Students will be directed to analyze prints of Salvador Dali.
They will be asked what do the see in the image. 5 min, Students in groups will be allowed to process their discoveries.
Homework, define the vocabulary and create additional sketches of dreams.
