Community Solutions to Improve Employed Immigrant Health: Employed Latino Health Initiative
Five Key Objectives Assess the needs of employers and employed Latino immigrants relative to the need for health resources and information, access to health services, and health care coverage; Identify strategies that can improve the health of employed Latino immigrants in order to develop models that attend to those needs; Prioritize and select models to pilot based on affordability, sustainability and ease of implementation; Pilot and evaluate select models to test their utility and effectiveness; and Identify methods for sustaining models as standard community and business practices.

Initiative Partners Health Management Associates (HMA)
A health policy research and consulting firm and a national leader in providing technical and analytical services to health care and human service clients in the public and private sectors. Latino Empowerment Outreach Network (LEON) A nonprofit organization with a network and a collaboration of individuals, organizations and agencies dedicated to building a healthy Latino community in Central Ohio. Ohio Hotel and Lodging Association (OH&LA) A state association of Ohio’s hotel general managers that provides representation, information and resources for the Ohio lodging industry. Central Ohio Restaurant Association (CORA) An affiliate of the Ohio Restaurant and National Restaurant Association that provides education, training, community involvement and networking events for its members. Universal Health Care Action Network of Ohio (UHCAN Ohio) A statewide organization working for high quality and affordable health care for all Ohioans through education, community engagement, coalition building and policy advocacy.
