Two (2) Ethiopian Universities are currently offering training in Biomedical Engineering programme leading to the award of Bachelor of Engineering (BME) & BM-Technologist…Planned Masters of Engineering (BME) specialization in: Imaging and Instrumentation Rehabilitation Medical Engineering Information and Computerization… Developing Curriculum HTM…..New Proposed in Next two Year c. 5-Polytechnic is currently running a 4 year programmes leading to Diploma in BM-Technician. To step up awareness for society with media…Accepted Managed Equipment Service Quality Assurance [Calibration] … Started but needs Calibration Tools for Radiation Medical Equipment (IAEA)/ WHO Medical Device Division Impliment Other Acquisition method Leasing or Rent… is accepted, As per GE- Healthcare Survey Clustering or Group utilization… Started agreement among them Use all win-win tools like: 5”S”, “Lean”… Develop prioritized (Life support )Medical Equipment specification and include “CE-mark” as Quality measure.
