3 Promotion Policy From 9th to 10th Grade
6 credits minimum are required for promotion. 3 credits are very specific: 1 English 1 Social Studies 1 Math Moving from one grade to the next is based on high school credits earned.

4 Promotion Policy From 10th to 11th Grade
12 credits minimum are required for promotion. 8 credits are very specific: 2 English 2 Math 2 Social Studies 1 Science 1 credit in identified career pathway Moving from one grade to the next is based on high school credits earned.

5 Promotion Policy From 11th to 12th Grade
18 credits minimum are required for promotion. 14 credits are very specific: 3 English 3 Social Studies 3 Math 2 Science 1 World Language 2 credits in identified career pathway Moving from one grade to the next is based on high school credits earned.

6 Graduation Requirements
Red Clay requires a minimum of 24 credits. These include: English credits Math 4 credits Science 3 credits Social Studies 4 credits Phys. Education 1 credit Health ½ credit World Language credits Career Pathway credits Additional Credits ½

9 AP Coursework Enables high school students to take college-level courses and exams earning college credit or placement while STILL in high school

10 College AP Policy Ninety percent of the nation's four-year colleges and universities, and institutions grant incoming students credit, placement or both for qualifying AP Exam grades.

Students log-on to HAC (refer to instruction sheet), review teacher recommendations & make course selections: March 1st – March 17th Counselors meet individually with students to advise & finalize course selections: 11th Grade – March 20 & 21 10th Grade – March 22 & 23 9th Grade – March 27 & 28
