What is Dual Credit? Students have the opportunity to earn BOTH college credit high school credit simultaneously. Dual Credit courses are COLLEGE LEVEL courses!

Logging in to new systems- My Viking/Canvas May be taught by college instructor or HS teacher with college teaching qualifications This can provide new challenges for the dual credit student It’s harder than High School Students must be more responsible College courses cost $- so do textbooks FALL semester then SPRING semester Transferable

Texas Core Curriculum (Transfer) FALL- HIST 1301 and PSYC 2301 or SPCH 1311 SPRING-HIST 1302 and PSYC 2301 or SPCH 1311 FALL- ENGL 1301 and ECON 2301 SPRING-ENGL 1302 and GOVT 2305 Additional Opportunities, depending on what’s offered at your HS: FALL- BIOL 1406, MATH 1342, PSYC 2301 SPRING-BIOL 1407, MATH 1314, SPCH 1311

Steps to Enrollment Student Student Placement Testing Purchase Books
Step 1 Apply Apply to the COLLEGE Permission Form to High School Placement Testing Step 2 Permission High School will check over the form. High School will attach Placement Testing/OtherInformation. High School will send forms to Grayson College. Step 3 Enroll Grayson will enroll you in class Grayson will contact you once enrolled Step 4 Pay You must pay your tuition Purchase Books Instructions will be sent via ! Student Student
