21 Considerations It Started with 3 Goals
To increase the probability of winning matches a standard of three goals per match was the objective. This meant we needed a cultural change in terms of what is possible for scoring goals. The first step was to increase the number of strikes taken inside the GZ. As the season progressed the players better understood the need to pass the ball to teammates who were better positioned inside the GZ rather than attempting long-range strikes. To successfully pass the ball into the GZ required... An understood tactical approach to secure a GZ Possession.
