Outbreak in Lagos Estate 7 out of 15 samples positive for Vibro cholera-Ogawa (46.7%). 55 cases out of total 61 alive(90.2%). 6 cases out of 61 dead (CFR: 9.8%). Cholera Borno No confirmed cases so far Agencies contingency activities & resources document Malaria Health sector hasn’t received any WASH agencies inputs on their capacity mapping 375,000 bednetsfor newly liberated areas (OFDA funded) plus some for camps in Maiduguri Fumigation trucks from Govt? – colleagues from BOSEPA to give us an overview of activities Coordination w/health sector to get info on health facilities receiving above average malaria cases

Dikwa/Mafa DIKWA: Flooding of camp sites pushed IDPs to move to Dikwa city (5 camps/town) tot 70,000 IDPs WATER: 6 BHs around town  UNICEF/RUWASSA planning to rehab in coming 25 days HP BHs around town  ICRC looking into them Other BHs being rehabbed with below average standards  Support needed Solar panels taken from camps and installed in non-functional diesel pump BHs (approx. 4 done like this) SANITATION: Latrines in schools hardly meeting needs UNICEF RUWASSA constructing latrines, ICRC available (site plans not yet released by UNHCR) MAFA: circa 4,000 IDPs 3 BHs around town 1 middle of town + 1 School  UNIC/RUW rehab 1 free flowing  Support needed 100 latrines  UNICEF/RUWASSA construct Chesalar IDP Camp Tsangaya Integrated School

Critical areas for new support? New actors in town or established ones looking to expand activities? Camp leadership? Teachers Village, CAN Center, NYSC, Customs House, Goni Kachallari, Shehu Sanda Kyarimi (formal Camps); Kabar Maila, Fori Primary School, Galtimari Primary School (informal camps)
