1 UNDERSTANDING THE G12 VISION

2 JESUS SELECTED TWELVE APOSTLES
35 Jesus went through all the towns and villages, teaching in their synagogues, preaching the good news of the kingdom and healing every disease and sickness. 36 When he saw the crowds, he had compassion on them, because they were harassed and helpless, like sheep without a shepherd. 37 Then he said to his disciples, "The harvest is plentiful but the workers are few. 38 Ask the Lord of the harvest, therefore, to send out workers into his harvest field.” 1 He called his twelve disciples to him and gave them authority to drive out evil spirits and to heal every disease and sickness. Matthew 9:35-10:1

3 WHY DID JESUS SELECTED TWELVE APOSTLES?
TO REAP THE SOULS THAT NEED TO BE HARVESTED

4 WHY TWELVE AND NOT ELEVEN , TEN, SEVEN, THIRTEEN OR ANY OTHER NUMBER?
12 IS THE NUMBER OF GOVERNMENT

5 THE GOVERNMENT OF TWELVE
God established twelve months to govern the year (January to December) Days are are governed by two periods of twelve hours each (12 hours day and 12 hours night)

6 THE GOVERNMENT OF TWELVE IS USED IN ADMINISTRATION
King Solomon had Twelve Governors Solomon also had twelve district governors over all Israel, who supplied provisions for the king and the royal household. Each one had to provide supplies for one month in the year. 1 Kings 4:7

7 THE GOVERNMENT OF TWELVE IS USED IN RESTORING THE ALTAR OF GOD
Then Elijah said to all the people, "Come here to me." They came to him, and he repaired the altar of the LORD, which was in ruins. 31 Elijah took twelve stones, one for each of the tribes descended from Jacob, to whom the word of the LORD had come, saying, "Your name shall be Israel." 32 With the stones he built an altar in the name of the LORD… 1 Kings 18:30-32a

8 THE GOVERNMENT OF TWELVE IS USED IN BIRTHING AND ESTABLISHING A NATION
Jacob had 12 sons who became 12 tribes and became one nation, the nation of Israel.

9 JESUS APPLIED THE GOVERNMENT OF TWELVE IN ESTABLISHING HIS CHURCH
Jesus went up on a mountainside and called to him those he wanted, and they came to him. He appointed twelve--designating them apostles… Mark 3:13-14a

10 THE EARLY CHURCH SELECTED ANOTHER APOSTLE IN PLACE OF JUDAS
With the reward he got for his wickedness, Judas bought a field; there he fell headlong, his body burst open and all his intestines spilled out. Everyone in Jerusalem heard about this, so they called that field in their language Akeldama, that is, Field of Blood.) "For," said Peter, "it is written in the book of Psalms, "'May his place be deserted; let there be no one to dwell in it,' and, "'May another take his place of leadership.' Acts 1:18-26

11 Therefore it is necessary to choose one of the men who have been with us the whole time the Lord Jesus went in and out among us, 22 beginning from John's baptism to the time when Jesus was taken up from us. For one of these must become a witness with us of his resurrection." So they proposed two men: Joseph called Barsabbas (also known as Justus) and Matthias. 24 Then they prayed, "Lord, you know everyone's heart. Show us which of these two you have chosen 25 to take over this apostolic ministry, which Judas left to go where he belongs." 26 Then they cast lots, and the lot fell to Matthias; so he was added to the eleven apostles. Acts 1:18-26

12 THE VISION OF THE GOVERNMENT OF TWELVE AS REVEALED BY GOD TO CESAR CASTELLANOS
“If you train twelve people and you manage to reproduce in them the character of Christ which is in you. And if everyone of them does the same with another twelve people, and if these, in turn, do the same with another twelve, transmitting the same vision to each other, you and your church will experience unprecedented growth”

13 BUILDING A NETWORK OF LEADERS AND WORKERS FOR THE HARVEST
1st Level: 12 2nd Level: 144 3rd Level: 1,728 4th Level: 20,736 5th Level: 248,832 6th Level: 2,985,984 7th Level: 35,831,808

14 HOMOGENEOUS NETWORKS The Men’s Net and the Women’s Net
Men disciple men and women disciple women The Men’s Youth Net is under the Men’s Net and the Women’s Youth Net under the Women’s Net. Only the G12 groups and Discipleship groups are homogeneous but the Open Cells are Heterogeneous (mixed).

15 DISCIPLES OF JESUS CHRIST
Two Things About A Disciple: He is willing to give up everything for the sake of Christ (self denial). He is willing to obey every commandment of Christ (work).

16 1. WILLING TO GIVE UP EVERYTHING FOR CHRIST
"If anyone comes to me and does not hate his father and mother, his wife and children, his brothers and sisters--yes, even his own life--he cannot be my disciple.” 33 “In the same way, any of you who does not give up everything he has cannot be my disciple.” Luke 14:26; 33

17 2. WILLING TO DO ANYTHING FOR CHRIST
All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. 19 Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, 20 and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. Matthew 28:18-20a

18 TRUE DISCIPLES IMITATE JESUS
And anyone who does not carry his cross and follow me cannot be my disciple. Luke 14:27 “PATTERN YOURSELVES after me [follow my example], as I imitate and follow Christ (the Messiah).” 1 Corinthians 11:1 (Amplified Bible)

19 WE NEED TO PATTERN OURSELVES AFTER:
The Life of Jesus (Character) The Ministry of Jesus (Changing Lives)

20 THE MINISTRY OF JESUS Preaching the Gospel of the Kingdom
Healing the Sick Delivering the demonized Feeding the Hungry Making strong disciples

21 TRUE DISCIPLES OF JESUS WILL MAKE DISCIPLES
“Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, 20 and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age." Matthew 28:19-20

22 DISCIPLES MAKE DISCIPLES
In the G12 Vision every believer is being trained and equipped to become like Jesus in Character and and in Ministry. We will only call a believer a “disciple” if he or she starts to win souls and make disciples. Everybody is in the process of being a disciple. A disciple is a disciple maker!

23 YOU NEED TO BE DISCIPLED TO BECOME A MATURE DISCIPLE
“Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, 20 and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. Matthew 28:19-20

24 THINGS YOU NEED TO HAVE TO GROW AND MATURE
Faithfulness Availability Initiative Teachability Humility
