2. Objectives of INSPIRE
This project is initiated by GOI Ministry of Science and Technology under Dept. of Science and Technology.
The vision of 2020 is to create well designed innovation infrastructure in the country,
To attract talent to the excitement and study of science at an early age, and to help the country build the required critical resource pool for the strengthening and expanding the S&T system and R&D base.
To communicate to the youth of the country the excitements of creative pursuit of science.
It does not believe in conducting competitive exams for identification of talents at any level.

3. Components of INSPIRE Scheme for Early Attraction of Talent ( SEATS )
Aim to attract talented oath to study Science by providing Inspire award of Rs. 5000/- to one million young learners of the age group years.
To provide opportunities to work with global leaders in Science to experience the joy of innovations on annual basis through internship.
Scholarship for Higher Education (SHE) 17 to 22 years
Assured Opportunity for Research Careers (AORC) 22 to 32 years

5. Revamping of Inspire awards from 2016-17
Inspire award scheme is revamped as INSPIRE AWARDS- MANAK.
Align with Action plan for “ START UP INDIA “- An initiative of PM.
E-MAIS ( E-Management of Inspire Award Scheme) opened from 1st December to 28th February, 2017.
Submission of projects Synopsis : word or pdf format as mandatory along with online nomination.

6. INSPIRE AWARDS MANAK from 2016-17
E-MAIS website : www. inspireawards-dst.gov.in
Target : out reach of 10 lakh innovations
2-3 best ideas from each schools target about 5 lakh across the country.
Age group : years.
Classes : VI to X
All Managements
Selection criteria : Based on Innovation/ Creativeness / Novelty

7. INSPIRE AWARDS MANAK from 2016-17
Short listed will be done by National Innovation Foundation.
Rs. 5000/- per student for the selected student through Direct Benefit Transfer (DBF) through bank account.
Through DLEPC : 10% short listed – Estimated10,000 projects.
SLEPC – 10% short listed – 1000 projects at National Level.
10% of SLEPC selected projects will be give 20,000 further developing in the form of proto type model.
NIF will co-ordinate with NITs, IITs, IISES for holding workshops to assist the students.
At the NLEPC – 60 models/ projects will be shortlisted for National awards and for patent rights.
These 60 models will participate in the Annual Festival of Innovations to be held in Rastrapathi Bhawan.

Click view forward nomination to DA
Click on students nomination button from school dashboard.
After filling all the information in the format press view & edit button If user wants to edit the particulars of the students.
After filling editing click on forward application
