3. Definition of Alcoholism
It is a primary, chronic disease with genetic, psychological, and environmental factors influencing its progression and manifestation. They also acknowledge that the disease is often progressive and fatal.
It is characterized by impaired control over drinking, preoccupation with the drug alcohol, use of alcohol despite adverse consequences, and distortion in thinking, most notably denial.

Moral responsibility: Individual or Communal approach
Moral intellect is distorted
Human conscience slowly deteriorating.

5. Causes of Alcoholism The exact cause of alcoholism is unknown.
Risk factors attributed to alcoholism include:
Inheritance among families
Psychiatric conditions e.g depression & anxiety
Poverty, social isolation and shyness

6. Some studies have suggested that people who need comparatively more alcohol to achieve the an effect of euphoria are more likely to become alcohol dependent.
Alcohol also has a “reward mechanism” in the brain associated with the release of dopamine (a hormone associate with pleasure) during its consumption. Therefore, a consumers need to achieve this sense of pleasure may lead to consequent dependence

Increasing staff morale and confidence
Organization creates awareness of drug uses and effects
Establishing of corporate culture and practices
