3 What is the APF? Established in 1959, APF is a non-profit professional society devoted to the business and management of pathology Focuses on providing quality education and practice management resources for its members Pathology and practice management specific education for all levels We seek and welcome membership from both pathologists and pathology professionals

4 What is APF? Provides a forum for members to learn about current issues that affect the practice of pathology, both regionally and nationally Timely e-news updates and alerts: CPT, ICD, and other coding changes Urgent legislative issues affecting the practice of pathology A peer network that provides solutions and answers to pathology practice questions Services, resources and support that help to create an advantage in the business of pathology

Provides a yearly scholarship/stipend for resident attendance at our APF Annual Conference Awarded to member residents who have a specific interest in the business and management of pathology Application Interested residents submit a letter of application and CV Letter of recommendation from Department Chair or Program Director Awardees are encouraged to further develop their business and management interests APF committee membership
