Average score at TBGS over previous 3 years was 36 points – this year with our biggest cohort was 37 (Worldwide average is 29-30) Torquay Boys’ was the top state school in the UK for the IB in 2011 and it has been in the top 10 every year The Bottom Line – Examination Performance

4 51% of students achieved a score higher than 39 points (globally this figure is 10.2%)
