13. DIVINE.LOVE_ JEFF.IN SUNDAY_ You say, "I love the Lord, but can you trust Him with the doctor shakes his head? Can you trust Him when everything else is gone? You need an overflowing baptism of love, Divine love. When it seems like when you pray and your prayer is not answered, do you still love Him? Is there something that keeps purging you on. That's God's sovereign grace has to take over. It's got to. It's God's nature. God can't do nothing else but do that.

DIVINE.LOVE_ JEFF.IN SUNDAY_ E When God seen the sin of this world, and seen that man was dying without hope and could not be saved, and yet He knowed that man would love Him, it--it strained God, and it proved His nature. God's nature is love. God is love, and it strained God's nature until He had to provide a way of escape for those who want to escape. And He sent His Son to the world made in the likeness of sinful flesh to bear our sins and sickness to Calvary. God did it.

15. DIVINE.LOVE_ JEFF.IN SUNDAY_ The love of God going out called for sovereign grace. And God never said, "If you'll do it... If you'll do this, I'll do this." God, without any conditions He sent He His Son to die in your place and settle the sin question. Had nothing to do with what you think about it. God did it anyhow. Amen. Divine love, when you're strained sovereign grace has to take its place. That's all there is, when Divine love just sets at the right place.

If you haven't got love to accompany that, what good does the signs do you? God's tried to do it across the nation, but it wouldn't work. The greatest of all the gifts is wisdom, the second is knowledge.

HEAR.YE.HIM_ INDIANAPOLIS.IN MONDAY_ If you haven't got knowledge, you haven't got wisdom, how can--to control your knowledge, what good's your knowledge going to do? See what I mean? Seek the first things first. We've gone after gifts; we've gone after this; we've gone after that, because the supernatural was done. But, brother, don't seek gifts; don't seek favor with denomination; seek the love of God. Do it, brethren.

HEAR.YE.HIM_ INDIANAPOLIS.IN MONDAY_ E Love constrained Him. That's what He was: love in His great bosom, went out to Adam's fallen race and redeemed them through His Son, Christ Jesus. Laws, prophets, denominations is all faded away, "This is My beloved Son; hear ye Him." Love takes its place. You can't impersonate love. You've got to have it. It's got to be a product that God has given you. It's not what you imagine. It's something God had done.

And as long as you love Christ, you don't have a worry, and Christ loves you, you know. It's love that does it. Not something that I do to merit it, it's God's Divine love.

It's a duty of love to constrain us. It's our duty to follow love. And I pray, God, that You'll give it to every heart that raised their hand tonight.
