Draft outlines/themes for each chapter Refining outline for introductory chapter CFUW Advisory Committee meeting with writer at AGM Researching with book expected for the 100th anniversary

18 Background Research Completed
To fit the initiatives and achievements of CFUW into context. To address issues such as why the initiative happened when it did, what brought it about, what were the goals, what obstacles had to be overcome before/during/after. To provide the backdrop for changing focus and expansion of interest and activity beyond women and education.

19 Draft outlines/themes for each chapter
creating a strategy to determine where best to talk about achievements/measures by the organization and how best to frame them in a social context establishing where to put emphasis for each topic identifying social issues, decade, and subject which best exemplifies what the issues were and what role CFUW played). establishing which (if any) president’s biography should be highlighted for each chapter. - working ideas for strategies to handle other “lesser” issues within the available space.

20 Refining the outline for introductory chapter
placing the foundation of the CFUW into social context. identifying which “issues” will best provide the context of the status of women before and when the organization was founded the major events at the time of foundation creating an image of women’s movements, what made CFUW unique and part of the increased movement towards more rights for women. the timeline of the creation of CFUW.
