FUTURE OF EARTH IN OUR HANDS
2
EARTH IS A VERY DEVELOPED PLANET
EARTH IS A VERY DEVELOPED PLANET . BUT TODAY’GENERATION IS ALSO SPOILING THE EARTH. LIKE WE GET DIFFERENT`MATERIALFROM THE FACTORIES BUT BECAUSE OF THE POLLUTION FROM THE FACTORIES THE OZON LAYER WHICH PROTECTS OUS FROM THE HARMFUL RAYS SUN IS GETTKIING HOLES IN IT. SO NOW WE HAVE TO MAKE EARTH MORE BETTER. THE FUTURE OF EARTH IS IN OUR HANDS.

HARMS ON EARTH

OZONE LAYER OZONE LAYER IS A LAYER WHICH PROTECTS FROM THE HARMFUL RAYS OF THE SUN TO REACH THE EARTH. IF TH3E RAYS REACH US WE CAN HAVE MANY PROBLEMS LIKE SKIN DISEASE ,SKIN CANCER ETC. THE POLLUTION FROM THE FACTORIES AND VEHICLES ARE MAKING HOLES IN THE OZONE LAYER.

GLOBAL WARMING What is global warming? Global warming is the rise in temperature of the earth's atmosphere. It's said that by the time a baby born today is 80 years old, the world will be 6 and a half degrees warmer than it is now.
6
WHAT CAUSES GLOBAL WARMING AND CAUSES BY
Although carbon dioxide is said to be the cause of more than 60% of global warming, there are other substances which cause global warming as well, including methane, chlorfluorocarbons, and nitrous oxides FINGERPRINTS: Direct manifestations of a widespread and long-term trend toward warmer global temperatures Heat waves and periods of unusually warm weather Ocean warming, sea-level rise and coastal flooding Glaciers melting Arctic and Antarctic warming HARBINGERS: Events that foreshadow the types of impacts likely to become more frequent and widespread with continued warming. Spreading disease Earlier spring arrival Plant and animal range shifts and population changes Coral reef bleaching Downpours, heavy snowfalls, and flooding

ACID RAIN Acid rain is defined as rain with a pH of below 5.6. Normal rain has a pH of slightly under 6, which is slightly acidic. This natural acidity is caused by dissolved carbon dioxide dissociating to form weak carbonic acid. 'Acid rain' is caused by sulphur from impurities in fossil fuels, and nitrogen from the air combining with oxygen to form sulphur dioxide and nitrogen dioxide

WHAT CAUSES ACID RAIN AND CAUSES BY IT
THERE ARE SOME HARMFUL WHUCH GO IN THE CLOUDS AND MIX UP WITH THEWATER IN THE SKY . THEN THEY FORM SOME WEAK ACID AND WHEN THE RAIN COMES THE ACID ALSO FALLS WITH IT AND IS KNOWN AS ACID RAIN Acid rain causes acidification of lakes and streams and contributes to damage of trees at high elevations (for example, red spruce trees above 2,000 feet) and many sensitive forest soils. In addition, acid rain accelerates the decay of building materials and paints, including irreplaceable buildings, statues, and sculptures that are part of our nation's cultural heritage. Prior to falling to the earth, SO2 and NOx gases and their particulate matter derivatives, sulfates and nitrates, contribute to visibility degradation and harm public health
