Create a word document with the following:
Location of Carding Mill Valley/River Long Mynd (include several maps at different scales) Background information on Carding Mill Valley/River Long Mynd (how and when was it formed, what is it used for etc.) A glossary (word + definition) of key geographical terms you may use in your river study e.g. bank, wetted perimeter, erosion etc. Challenge: research how to complete a risk assessment for a fieldwork study. What might you have to consider?

Your hypothesis (your key question that your are going to investigate, see examples below) - To identify changes to the river channel along a section of the River Mynd in relation to the Bradshaw model. To find out if the Bradshaw model of river change applies to Carding Mill Valley. To study the change in characteristics of the long profile of the River Mynd.
