We usually think of this as breathing but the scientific word for it is

Plants take in oxygen through the tiny holes on the underside of their leaves. They use it to make energy too.

You are probably thinking that a plant cannot move but actually there are ways that it can.
Plants can grow towards a light and even turn to grow upwards if they fall over.
