I Can: Understand that ASL is a conceptually correct language, and start to think about the real meaning of words so that I can pick the correct sign. RECAP – Review, Enhance, Clarify, Acquire, Progress Write the following sentence but replace the words in red with a synonym (word that means the same thing): I have to go to the store because I have to buy some food because I don’t have any at home. I Can: Use facial expressions to show a lot of different emotions RECAP – Review, Enhance, Clarify, Acquire, Progress pick one emotion and explain how you can change its meaning. To do: Watch people’s faces while they are talking and try to see how they are feeling by their facial expressions. Write several sentences describing what you saw. (3 pts.)

Introduce yourself: Give a fake name Tell if you are Deaf, Hard of Hearing, Hearing Impaired or Hearing Pick one emotion and tell your partner how you are feeling Say goodbye and tell them when you will see them
