3 ARRC Mission HQ ARRC, as a High Readiness Force (Land) HQ, is to train at readiness to deploy on NATO, European Union, coalition or national orders to undertake Combined and Joint operations: As a Corps HQ As a Land Component Command HQ As a Theatre-level Joint Task Force HQ Or to reinforce current operations with selected capabilities In order to support crisis management options or the sustainment of current operations 3

Individual Training and Education is precursor to HQ ARRC’s ‘Crawl-Walk-Run’ training method. It encompasses a wide range of training – specific to appointment and common to all. Induction Basic Military Training Role Specific Training Education & Professional Development

6 BASIC MILITARY TRAINING
ARRC INDIVIDUAL TRINING & EDUCATION DIRECTIVE – 2015/16 Subject to SNR’s direction, all ARRC staff will either undertake national training or the individual training provided by the Framework Nation UK and ARRC Policy on MATTs MATT 1 - Personal Weapons Training. MATT 2 – Fitness - Annual Fitness Test (AFT) and Personal Fitness Test (PFT). MATT 3 – Battle Casualty Drills (BCD) (including Basic Life Support (BLS)). MATT 4 – Chemical Biological Radiological Nuclear (CBRN). MATT 5 – Navigation. MATT 6 – Values and Standards. MATT 7 – Operational Law. MATT 8 – Survive, Evade, Resist, Extract (SERE). MATT 9 – Counter Improvised Explosive Device (CIED).

7 ROLE SPECIFIC TRAINING
HQ ARRC NATO COURSE POLICY 2015/16 Required in line with an individual post’s Job Descriptions (JD) National Funding as part of a skill set - seen beneficial to the HQ Shared Funding / National Funding

8 EDUCATION & PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT
Responsibility of several providers: National ARRC delivers on ad-hoc basis Self Study
