UCLA is designated as site of The UNESCO Chair in Global Learning and Global Citizenship Education The Chair seeks through research and education “to understand and improve global learning and citizenship” Works with education agencies and institutions to promote “global learning and citizenship,” particularly among “young learners” December 12, 2016

4 Global Citizenship Education Network – BGF
The Boston Global Forum is now a formal partner with UNESCO & UCLA on global citizenship education Our role is to create an international network of global citizens to actively promote goals and values of global citizenship December 12, 2016

15 Schedule Global Citizenship Education Network ( GCEN ) officially launched on September 23, 2016, Website GCEN.World launched on November 21, 2016, and Global Citizen Scorecard will be ready to launch in multiple languages in spring, 2017. English-language materials will be available in limited quantity at that time, with translations to follow Tier system (Bronze, Silver, Gold, Platinum) will be launched in September, 2017.
