The introduction of dopant impurities into an organic semiconductor enhances its electrical properties but this is not adequately understood. In this project I propose…
The possibility to control the electrical properties of semiconducting materials upon introducing controlled quantities of dopant impurities has been a major driver of today’s IT-based society. The ubiquitous diffusion of cheap, lightweight and flexible organic electronic devices is hampered by the lack of an adequate comprehension of the effect of doping on materials.
