India got independence on 15th August,1947
British left the country on that day & that is why we celebrate Independence Day

They had to give their lives to win freedom for us.
Mahatma Gandhi also led Indian People toward independence.
He used Non-violence as a major weapon.
He launched “Quit India Movement “in & we got
freedom in 1947.
