5. CRE Highlights SOICS Leadership changes effective April, 2014:
Michael Corbo, - ExxonMobil –> Chairman term ended
Mike Kelsheimer, - Marathon Petroleum -> New Chairman 3-year term.
Jose Araujo, Chevron -> New Vice Chairman 3–year term.
All SOICS owned RPs are essentially Up to Date, and continue on a planned Maintenance Track.
No User Request for Interpretation (RFIs) since the Fall, 2014 meeting.

6. CRE Highlights CRE News –
from API on government position on ISO standards
API position, no support of any activities with ISO standards at this time
API has asked ISO to assist with an acceptable path forward
Any info that is not public would be considered proprietary and not allowable per government regulations against providing support to banned country’s.
API provided a response to the CSB on their report of the Tesoro Anacortes fire.
Primarily response was to CSB recommendations around RP-581 and RP-941.
One item discussed in the CRE was the lack of instrumentation on these exchangers which lead to the question should SOICS be included in more joint task groups to provide input.
CSB also wanted to see more “shalls” and fewer “shoulds”.
Unexpected scope growth in standards, one task force was required to scale back a new standard.
Issues are primarily with 1st Editions
Make sure scope additions are reflected in an updated SR3
