2. Signs of Spring
There are many different signs of Spring. The sun rises in the early hours of the morning and sets in the late afternoon. The days get slightly warmer. Spring flowers start to sprout such as the snow-daisy, the crocus and the daffodil. Birds start building nests and farmers start preparing for the new born animals. Spring has three months Febuary, March and April.

February is the second month of the year, it is also the first month of spring and the shortest month of the year. St Bridgets Day is the 1st of February, lots of farmers say that if it rains on the first of February it will rain for most of the Spring Season. The first flower you may see in February is the daffodil, the daffodil is a beautiful yellow flower that may grow in peoples garden and meadows.
