Work or tests missed will be made up at recess when your child returns and/or sent home for extra homework.

Homework Offer your child help with homework – fourth graders are not ready to be completely responsible for homework on their own. The work is harder! Homework agenda book to be signed every night

A Few Items to Note Scholastic Book Orders – Make Checks to “Scholastic Reading Club” Walkers and car riders – please arrive by 8:30 to unpack and be ready for the start of school Send money for the cafeteria in an envelope with your child’s name and number on it

Ask Your Child Ask your child, “What is the value of 4 in 24,367?”
Ask your child, “What is the difference between a story told in first person and third person point of view?” Ask your child, “How would a pen be interesting to a geographer, historian, economist or political scientist?”

Don’t forget to look at your child’s fourth grade goal in the hallway.
