Language: Students will study subjects and predicates this week. Assessment Friday
Writing: The focus will continue to be on research.
Spelling: Blends
Math: Second grade will learn to measure objects using standard units of measurement. Practice measuring items around the house in inches, feet, and yards.
Science: Second graders will study food chains again this week. Assessment – Friday.
Social Studies: Students will enjoy studying facts about Texas over the next few weeks.
