Points for Discussion and Analysis
How does Plato’s Myth of the Cave align with his Allegory of the Divided Line? What elements of the Cave correspond to the Divided Line? Plato believed that true reality lay outside of the world of perception. What complication does this present when defining reality? Is the TRUTH of reality knowable? Why or why not? Due Wednesday, write a brief analysis for either question #1 or #2. Be sure to explain your ideas with enough detail and examples to make your thoughts clear and easily understandable. Please post to Google Classroom.
