Data Stores
With the help of Ms. Zimmerman, Mr. Smith, and Spartacus Computing Solutions, we broke down the Siena College Catalog into the different sections and sub-sections.
These different sections are our data stores and will become the files in our database that will be constructed next semester.

For example, in the School of Science, there will be files for the different departments (Biology, Chemistry, and Computer Science, etc.).
Our database will consist of pointers that will point to these files.

Banner Information
The course descriptions and directory information will come from Banner.
We have received table structure/definition information from Mr. Serbalik and Ms. Kot. From this, we have discovered that the information we need from Banner are in different forms and will be coming from multiple tables.
Some of the tables and the fields that we will need are identified in the Preliminary Design document that we have given you.

Development Schedule
To give a representation of the first three stages of the waterfall model, with respect to time, we have created a Gantt chart. A Gantt chart provides a graphical illustration of a schedule that helps to plan, coordinate, and track specific tasks in a project.
We have tasks such as client meetings, dead lines for documentation, dates for presentations for each project stage, and a break when we will not be able to do work.
During the spring phase of our software plan, we will create another Gantt chart for the last two phases of the project.
