What is an action verb? A verb is one of the most important parts of the sentence. A verb that shows action is called an action verb.

SIMPLE PRESENT TENSE We use simple present tense to talk about an action that is repeated or usual.

Yo como, tu comes, ellos comen etc…
Verbs in Spanish change their form according the pronoun (or noun) that they are used with. Example: Comer Yo como, tu comes, ellos comen etc…

However; in English we use the same word for each pronoun, except for HE, SHE and IT. With those pronouns we must add a “S”.

For the negative form we use Do Not (Don´t) for I, You, We, They and Does Not (Doesn´t) for He, She and It.

For the interrogative form we just use Do for I, You, We, They and Does for He, She and It at the beginning of the sentence.
