IT Software Development Ayr
Framework Campus Attendance IT Software Development Ayr Year One: Attend College Tues and Thurs 2pm-4pm Year Two: Work placement approx 6 hours per week plus College one afternoon on a Tues or Thurs 2-4pm for portfolio work Engineering Kilmarnock Year One and Two: Attend College on a Tues and Thurs 2pm-5pm. 3 days over Easter in year two. 10 days for Industry Challenge project Social Services Children and Young People Kilwinning Year One: Attend College Tues and Thurs 2pm-5pm Year Two: Work placement approx 10 hours per week Please Note: Opportunities are available to all Ayrshire pupils, travel to train patterns must be taken into account. Attendance times: Start and end times are as detailed within each marketing booklets. Entrance Criteria: Pupils must have an interest in developing a greater awareness of the industry with a potential desire to pursue a career in the area and be capable of working at an SCQF Level 6 (Higher) in S5 and S6. In addition to this some, frameworks have specific entry criteria as detailed in booklets and College website. Pupils who meet the required entrance criteria and apply will be subject to a competitive selection process.

Starts in S5 and completes in S6
Spend time in College and with an employer over the 2 years Taken as one of your subject choices alongside your other qualifications S5: spend two afternoons a week at College with some employer input S6: spend a day with an employer (in addition to this: some frameworks also require a half day at College) Achievements: National Progression Award or a National Certificate at SCQF Level 6 (same level of learning as a Higher) Units of an SVQ Level 2/Level 3 (Industry recognised qualification) PVG/PPE and travel costs are covered for pupils
