Entrance Criteria: Pupils must have an interest in developing a greater awareness of the industry with a potential desire to pursue a career in the area and be capable of working at an SCQF Level 6 (Higher) in S5 and S6. In addition to this some, frameworks have specific entry criteria as detailed in booklets and College website. Pupils who meet the required entrance criteria and apply will be subject to a competitive selection process.

23. Starts in S5 and completes in S6
Spend time in College and with an employer over the 2 years
Taken as one of your subject choices alongside your other qualifications
S5: spend two afternoons a week at College with some employer input
S6: spend a day with an employer (in addition to this: some frameworks also require a half day at College)
Achievements:
National Progression Award or a National Certificate at SCQF Level 6 (same level of learning as a Higher)
Units of an SVQ Level 2/Level 3 (Industry recognised qualification)
