Pavel Kogan Violinist and conductor
Son of Leonid Kogan and Elisaveta Gilels In 1970, at the age of 18, he won first prize and the gold medal at the Sibelius International Violin Competition A frequent guest of famous festivals In 1989, he was named music director and chief conductor of Moscow State Symphony Orchestra

Maxim Vengerov Violinist
Was born in Novosibirsk, the capital of Western Siberia In 1974, at the age of ten, he won first prize in the junior Wieniawski Competition in Poland Debut in UK with BBC Philharmonic Orchestra in London “plays with the charm of Kreisler, the robust power of Oistrakh and has plenty to say in his own right”

Alexei Sultanov Russian-American classical pianist
In 1989, he was awarded the gold medal at the 8th Van Cliburn International Piano Competition Aged 19, he was the youngest competitor of the 38 pianists Was born in Tashkent into a family of musicians. Father was violinist and mother was cellist Formal concert debut at the age of seven In 1995, won 2nd prize at the International Frederick Chopin Piano Competition. But, he refused it. Grand prize was not awarded Died with aftermath of several stroke at age of 35 Black belt in Tae Kwon Do
