2. Why not Lithuania?
This question is not asked often enough. During the next ten minutes, you will get to know few basic things about Lithuania and our education system, which is growing to be popular among foreign students. Let’s see why ;-)

You have probably heard of Europe.. Lithuania is in the eastern/northern bit.
Lithuania is bigger than Denmark, Switzerland or the Netherlands, but has a lesser population of 2.9 million people
83.5% of people in Lithuania are Lithuanians, but there are also members of 115 nationalities in Lithuania

About 4 million people in the world speak Lithuanian, which is the oldest living Indo-European language
There are over 4000 lakes and around 1000 rivers.
Forests cover nearly 33% of the country
The climate ranges between maritime and continental, with average temperatures of +23°C in July, –4.9°C in January.

Independent from the USSR since 1991, Member of the EU and NATO since 2004

Lithuania is among the fastest growing economies in the EU

18. Basic Admission Criteria
For Bachelors Degree :-
Minimum of 45% to 50% marks in class 12th, NIOS is not acceptable, IELTS not required
For Masters Degree :-
16 years of Educational background is required. 3 years of Bachelors with 1st year of Master is acceptable.
Minimum of 50% in a relevant Bachelor degree, for Mechanical Engineering / Mechatronics 60% is required, IELTS not required. Distance Learning / Correspondence not accepted.
