The national flag of China is the five-star red flag .The flag is red. It is rectangular in shape. The proportion between the length and height is three to two. In the upper left corner of the flag,there are five five-pointed stars, yellow in colour. One of them is bigger and is located in the top left-hand corner. The other four surround the bigger star to its right.

The national flag of China is usually called the five-star red flag .
The color red represents the revolution, the blood and lives of martyrs. The color of the five stars is yellow ,which suggests the bright future. The largest star symbolizes the Communist Party of China while the four smaller stars stand for the four different classes in China who are united around the Party.
