2. Uzbekistan invites Turkish investors!
In February-March 2017 will be held a meeting of the Uzbek-Turkish joint commission on trade and economic cooperation, as well as a business forums Turkey-Uzbekistan with participation of business circles of two countries.
The recent visit of the President of the Republic of Turkey H.E. Mr. Recep Tayyip Erdogan to the Republic of Uzbekistan (17-18 November, 2016) and negotiations with the new President of the Republic of Uzbekistan H.E. Shavkat Mirziyoyev have given a new impetus to the development of mutually beneficial Uzbek-Turkish cooperation, especially in trade and investment.

3. The Uzbek side attaches great importance to:
- development of tourism infrastructure with involvement of leading Turkish companies, including the reconstruction of "Afrosiyob" hotel in Samarkand and "Bukhara Palace" hotel in Bukhara and development of Tourism zone "Chimgan" in Tashkent region;
- cultivation and deep processing of agricultural products, with the involvement of advanced technology of Turkish companies. In particular, the implementation of "pilot" projects for the creation of intensive orchards in the 6 regions of Uzbekistan (for 4 thousand hectares), the organization of systems – full production cycle - sorting, packing, drying, processing, freezing and export of fruits and vegetables;
deep processing of local raw leather with the production high-quality footwear and leather goods;
- the production of highly efficient pharmaceuticals (antibiotics, medicines for the treatment of cardiovascular, cancer, gastrointestinal, ophthalmic diseases, etc.).

4. To implement the projects, the Uzbek side to create a free economic zones in the territory of which the Turkish companies will be granted the most favorable conditions, including tax, customs and other privileges and preferences.
In this regard, the Embassy invites potential Turkish companies to implement investment projects in Uzbekistan, as well as ready to hold bilateral talks with the heads of the interested companies.

12. Preferences & Privileges
Exemption of all tax and customs duties years depending on investment volume as follows:
from 0,3 – 3 million USD for 3 years;
from 3 – 5 million USD for 5 years;
from 5 – 10 million USD for 7 years;
more than 10 million USD for 10 years, with decreasing income and single tax
payment rates to 50 percent below existing rates
