HOW TO USE PLICKERS Go to plickers.com Tutorial created by Frankie Kam

Fill in your account details

A verification E-mail is sent to you. Please check your E-mail.
Click Add new class

Fill in your Class info

Class roster (initially blank)
Maximum of 40 cards

Type in names in either of 2 formats:
Firstname lastname -or- Lastname, firstname

Sample data of 40 names Click Save

Roster is populated with one name per card number
Click Library Roster is populated with one name per card number

This is the Library (of cards).
Click New Question

Enter question title, options and tick the answer
Click Save and create new

Click Save when finished

Click Live View when ready
The Library now consists of 2 questions

This screen should be projected for the class to see

Download Plickers from the AppStore or Google Play

Click Tap the Plickers icon

Here is the English 101 class that you created with 40 students
Tap English 101

You can tap Create to make new questions
For now, tap Library to use existing questions

Tap the first question

Students should hold up their Answer Cards now!
Tap Scan to begin scanning the student cards

1 2 As soon as a question in the queue is tapped, its content will appear on the projector screen

The app uses Augmented Reality to overlay…
… green (correct) or red (wrong) images onto the live background

Statistics are shown in real-time (live)
Scrollable roster (list of student names) For a big class, the teacher points her device from one student to another

The teacher can tap Reveal Answer to see …

The Teacher should instead tap of the Graph tab to show results without revealing wh got the answers wrong … this! However, it is better for the Teacher to NOT project this information on the screen

The Teacher can view a dashboard on her mobile device
The Teacher can view a dashboard on her mobile device. It shows her the live statistics and who got the answers right and wrong

Now tap on the second question in the queue to project it onto the screen

Students should again hold up their Answer Cards!

The Teacher sees the results in real-time ..and one wrong answer

Here the Teacher has clicked on the Graph Tab
Before the Reveal Answer icon is tapped, all responses are shown without knowing who is correct

Tap the Reveal Answer icon to reveal the correct answer and who was correct.

Tap the back (<) icon to return to the Queue
The result is reflected on the Teacher’s device
