Hitler becomes Fuhrer. 7 May 1945 – End of WW2 in Europe. Germany and Berlin divided into zones. May 1949 – FRG set up 7 October 1949 – GDR set up August 1961 – Berlin Wall goes up 9 November 1989 – Fall of Berlin Wall Your work could be presented as a timeline or as notes and must be handed in to Jayne Robson at the start of Term 1.
